Hey there,
I’m so happy you found your way here!
I’m Hailey — the designer, maker, and creative behind Paper & Dust.I was born and raised in small-town Wisconsin before trading the Midwest for the mountains and moving to Colorado in January 2020 (impeccable timing, I know). Not long after, I took a leap and started my own company. Since then, I’ve had the absolute joy of watching this little dream grow into something bigger than I could have imagined — creating alongside some truly incredible clients, planners, and creatives.
I’ve been part of the wedding industry since high school and have 7+ years of experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. I love taking an idea — even the slightly wild “I don’t know if this is possible, but…” ones — and figuring out how to bring it to life.
When I’m not designing, printing, building, or setting up an event, you’ll probably find me with a coffee in hand, doing Pilates, paddle boarding, traveling somewhere new, or spending time with my husband, daughter and our little crew of pets.
I’ve traveled all over Colorado and beyond to install details, transform spaces, and create a little bit of magic for my clients — and I’d absolutely love to do the same for you.
Around here, you’re never just a client. We’re probably going to send a lot of emails, obsess over tiny details together, laugh along the way, and hopefully become pretty great friends by the end of it.

How’s it going,
I am Emma, a recent graduate from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism and advertising. I am originally from Colorado, and moved back to start exploring what it means to pursue a career. I have always loved and been curious about working in the wedding industry.The magic that comes from the union of two peoples lives and love is something that I aspire to be passionately apart of. I have always been crafty, finding any excuse to create party decorations, birthday cards, or practice a new medium.
I found Hailey when researching the wedding industry and immediately fell in love with the work she does. I was a loyal fan throughout college, so when it was finally time to come up with a plan for post-grad I knew I wanted to learn from the best. Since starting in July, I have created and learned so much. It is a great privilege that I get to make art for others and get paid for it! I ensure every project is made and delivered with love whether it is up the mountain or down I-25. I can’t wait to continue to grow within the industry and as myself.
When I am not working, you can find me curled up on the couch with my two dogs and a good book. It is my personal responsibility to keep Hailey up to date on pop culture and continue to grow her “to be read” list. Since moving home, it has been my goal to explore and experience Colorado in all of its’ glory from hiking in the mountains, to checking out the bar scene in Denver. I love meeting new people, and spending time with my friends. I could spark up a meaningful conversation with a brick wall if it came to it. Any and all things vintage or old school I love; music, movies, clothes. I studied history in school as a side passion project, so continuing to learn and understand the past is a common subject in conversation when I get Hailey and I off topic while working. My designs often reflect my older taste, as a favor classic and timeless elements. But don’t let that fool you, I am a sucker for color and sparkles that will make people turn their heads. I make sure to keep things lively and a little extra spunky around here.
